I think that this is terrible. Obviously, you don't really believe again if it's just so you can get a stupid car. I think it's sad how people have to see to believe. I do and always will believe in Santa, and I am a 13 year old eight grade girl. This boy in my class keeps telling me that Santa is fake, and that I'm an idiot for believing in him, but that never phases me. Every time I tell him that if I'm an idiot, I'd rather be one than whatever he is, and it's true. I'm one of the only fee people in my grade who still believe, and thats probably seven of twenty four. Just because someone says so does not mean santas not real. There's one thing for sure. I will ALWAYS believe.
PS: I'm a Haitian sensation who's black and proud ;p

In reality, if I won, I would start a magazine or marketing company. Basically use the money to do something I love. But I would also go on some great trips with all my friends.

I hear you with the gardening. That's the part of the lotto daydream I love. I'd have money to put in an awesome rain water collection system for my gardens. I'd also have more time to work on my gardens. I'd brew beer more, cook more... Take my dog to the park more. Basically do all the things I love, I would just have more time to do them. And the money to do them to the level I'd like.

I am the most boring lotto fantasizer ever. My immediate family and I throw in money and play 4 plays for the jackpot. It was weekly, it's gotten more sporadic. But there are relatively few beaches or cool cars or long, lazy days of elective unemployment in my daydreams. It made me realize that I'm kind of a boring person.
My fantasy goes something like this...
I pay off my credit card! I put half of it away for retirement! I buy a new car, sure, but it's something with good fuel economy, and preferably something I can sleep in, because I hate paying for the "privilege" of sleeping in a bed 1,000 other people have drooled and farted and whatever elsed in. And I work part-time at a craft or fabric store so I can feed my sewing and crocheting addictions while still benefiting from employee discounts. Oh, and I work only part time so that I can still nurture my garden along so I'm able to can my own food so I don't have to feel guilty every time I buy a new tin can coated in paper that was shipped in a cardboard box that was probably covered in plastic. I mean, seriously? This is my dream world? Sadly, yes.
I also have some kickass clothing... that I made myself... because now I only work part time and I have time to make my own clothes.

Good grief.

I found out about Santa being a myth on accident at the age of 6 when my aunt was debating with my mom whether or not to tell my poor, unsuspecting 4-year-old (!) cousin that he was really just made up.
I was sitting on the living room floor, and she said, "We're thinking about telling Andrew this year that S-A-N-T-A is F-A-K-E."
Now that I'm older, I'm not sure which is more offensive: the fact that I was so mercilessly disillusioned at such a young age, or the fact that my aunt assumed I couldn't spell at the age of 6. Either way, it's a bitch.
